Raising funds for Sense
Owner Lee Alexander will be applying some serious pedal power on Sunday 28th May when he takes part in Ride London to raise much-needed funds for Sense.
Sense is a brilliant charity that has over 65 years of expertise in providing personalised support for people of all ages who have complex disabilities — from early life to adulthood. They offer residential care and virtual support, and they have a network of centres in communities across the country. They also provide lifelong opportunities for disabled people to be creative and active through holidays, arts, sports and wellbeing programmes.
For Lee, stepping up to take on what is a challenging ride was a no-brainer. ‘I have a deep love of cycling, whether it’s on a BMX track or on the road,’ comments Lee. ‘So when I had the opportunity to sign up to do Ride London and raise money at the same time I jumped at the chance. Sense is a wonderful organisation and knowing that I’m helping them to help others across the UK will keep my legs pumping and my wheels turning.’
If you can, please pledge your support for Lee and Sense by donating to his Justgiving page.
