Helping to bring families together again safely
We were contacted recently by Samantha Adby, the Home Services Manager at Margaret House Residential and Dementia Care Home in Royston, who urgently needed to source a very stable viral screen that was 2m high and 3m wide. The screen was to be sited in a marquee to enable visitors to see their elderly relatives without risking the spread of Covid-19. The brief was also to make it appear that the screen was not actually there as it would sometimes be placed between seats and sometimes between two tables so that families could eat together.
We liaised with Samantha on the phone and over email so we could come up with a bespoke design for her to review. On approval, we worked with our supplier to create the robust self-standing screen, and we were pleased to install it within one week so that families could have lunch, dinner or even just a coffee together.
