Workplace Wellbeing
Workplace Wellbeing & Desk Station Health
We’ve partnered with The Well at Work Project to give our clients access to specialist workplace health and wellbeing services designed to support healthier, happier teams. Founded by Registered Osteopath and Desk Station Health & Safety Assessor Bernitta Willoughby, The Well at Work Project brings a clinical perspective to workplace wellbeing, helping businesses take a practical and preventative approach to the health of their people.
A Healthier Approach to the Modern Workplace
Creating a healthy workplace goes beyond choosing the right furniture. How people work, move and feel throughout their working day matters too. The Well at Work Project works with businesses to build tailored workplace health and wellbeing support across four key areas:
- Desk Station Health & Safety: Professional desk station assessments to help businesses meet their responsibilities for DSE users while identifying potential issues with workstation set-up, comfort and musculoskeletal health. Support ranges from online screening through to more detailed individual assessments where required.
- Wellbeing Workshops: Engaging and practical workplace education delivered by health and wellbeing professionals. Workshops include topics such as desk ergonomics and back care, hormonal health in the workplace, and other areas of employee health and wellbeing.
- In-Office Therapies & Wellbeing Services: Bring wellbeing directly into the workplace with services such as massage therapy, life coaching and yoga. These can be arranged as individual sessions or as part of a wider employee wellbeing programme.
- Employee Thrive Boxes: Thoughtfully curated wellbeing boxes designed to bring workplace wellbeing into employees’ hands. Thrive Boxes can support specific wellbeing themes, seasonal initiatives or important moments in an employee’s working life, from ergonomic and hormonal health boxes to new starter, maternity, recognition and seasonal wellbeing boxes.
Services can be used individually or combined, allowing businesses to cherry-pick the support that is most relevant to their workforce, culture and budget.
Investing in your people
Taking a proactive approach to workplace health can help businesses reduce the risk of work-related musculoskeletal problems, support employee wellbeing and engagement, improve comfort at work and demonstrate a genuine commitment to their people.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, The Well at Work Project works with organisations to understand what their teams actually need and build an appropriate package of support around them.
Furniture and Wellbeing: A Natural Partnership
A well-designed workstation and a healthy way of working should go hand in hand. By combining our expertise in workplace furniture and interiors with The Well at Work Project’s clinical and workplace wellbeing expertise, businesses can take a more complete approach to their working environment – considering not only the space and furniture, but the health and wellbeing of the people using it.
